By car, you can use three routes
to reach Saas Almagell:
- Via the Rhone Valley and the motorway Lausanne
- Sion - Sierre - Visp - Stalden - Saas Grund
- Via the Lötschberg tunnel (using the car transport
facility) Bern - Kandersteg - Goppenstein - Visp - Stalden - Saas
Grund
- From eastern and central Switzerland, using the car transport
facility through the Furka tunnel (Realp - Oberwald) or via the
Furka Pass in summer
Arriving by train
By train, you can reach Saas Almagell
via the same routes:
- Via the Rhone Valley to Visp or Brig using the
Swiss Federal Railways
- Via Bern to Visp
- From eastern and central Switzerland
using the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn Railway to Brig
From Visp:
Hourly connections by postbus until 21.00 hrs.
Hand in your luggage at your local railway station, and we pick it
up at the postoffice for you.
